CHESTER THOMPSON

CHET McCRACKEN, member and contributing songwriter of the legendary Doobie Brothers, is among the most respected drummers in his field. He has recorded and performed with the band since their "One Step Closer" LP. Chet's catalogue of recording credits include Stevie Nicks, America, Rita Coolidge, Hank Williams, Jr and TommyTutone. Chet has also toured and recorded with Joe Walsh on his "The Confessor" Album Chet is currently touring and recording with his own band named, "CHET McCRACKEN'S JAZZ ROCK ORCHESTRA."

CHESTER THOMPSON, member of the group Genesis, has become known as the drummers' drummer. He has performed for over 26 consecutive years. His unique abilities and solid groove have gained Chester a real who's who list of performing and recording credits. Chester has performed with Ben E. King, Jack McDuff, George Duke, Phil Collins, The Pointer Sisters and Weather Report, to name just a few. He has recorded with Curtis Mayfield, Freddie Hubbard, Tata Vega, Peter Cetera, Alphonso Johnson, Tony Banks and was in the touring band with Frank Zappa for 2 years Among his many other attributes, Chester has been a resident clinician and master class instructor at the Grove School of Music.
